So, a little over a week ago I get the email from Microsoft that they are having a local Launch event for Vista and Office 2007. Knowing there would be freebies involved and the fact that I have been completely out of touch with M$ latest developments, I signed up.

I chose the half day morning event for what they called “IT Pros” covering Vista deployment, Office 2007 features and benefits, and Exchange 2007. The Vista walk-through was totally as expected. Lots of cool eye-candy, marketing, and some value-add functionality. Ooh…aahh…

Ignore the fact that this post is a couple weeks late…
So, what in the world happened to OSU during the game against Florida? That was the most embarrassing defeat I have seen in a looong time. Not that they would have won the game with Ted Ginn, but to lose him to an ankle injury because his teammates jumped on him in the end zone after the first kickoff return. That was the most ridiculous thing in the world. The score might have at least been a little more respectable. It was extremely painful to watch as OSU’s secondary just got destroyed and they couldn’t put any sort of pass pressure on. Not to mention the fact that the offensive line could not protect Troy at all. That collapse was almost so ridiculous that it brings to question whether the oddsmakers got to some of the players. Something was just not right about that game. It was very painful to watch a #1 ranked team like that just completely fall apart. Being defeated is one thing if you put up a strong offensive. But to be ranked #1 all season and then have an unbelievably pathetic performance as that was just absurd.

If you are attending the State of the Union address, you might want to make sure you are caught up on your sleep, especially if you are going to sit real close to the podium. I wonder if Bush thought to himself “Man I hope no one gets a picture of that”? Unless of course she was just a Democrat trying to send an obvious sign.
