I-Hacked.com Taking Advantage Of Technology - Elevator Hacking

I have tested this along with a couple co-workers in my building and it appears to work as stated. This is an excellent time-saver in my building, especially since we have 28 floors. Even though we have 3 sets of 6 elevators that are each dedicated to a specific number of floors, it is still a pain at night when I am in a hurry to make the train and the elevator has to stop at every floor from 12 down to 6 before we hit the lobby. I will definitely be storing this one for regular use.

In addition expanding to cover 12.3 and 12.4 versions of IOS is pretty much expected in order to have platform support with the latest hardware.

However, the fact that they are removing DLSw, ISDN, and ATM from both the written exam and the lab exam is very Read more »

The pain and irritation that is job searching and interviewing

12:14pm Wednesday, August 24th, 2005 by Rolande

Having been in the professional workforce for 10 years now and having worked for several different companies both big and small, I am amazed at how ridiculous and irritating the job search and interviewing process is becoming. Being one of a relatively small number of people out there in the US today with the CCIE (~4000), I would think that this process could be a whole lot easier. But it is exactly the opposite. You got the wrong Palestinian dude… | Reuters.com

11:33pm Monday, August 22nd, 2005 by Rolande

This is one of those hysterically ironic mailing list “glitches”. Some poor Palestinian guy in California got a rude awakening in one of his random junk credit card solicitations in the mail. They addressed the letter to Read more »
